Pilgrim Requirements

Almost all of the following questions should be answered in the affirmative before anyone should be considered for weekend participation.

• Does the pilgrim desire to grow as a Christian? They must have been baptized.
• Does this person have the potential for leadership in their environment?
• Does this person have the capacity for careful listening and understanding?
• Is this person seriously open to change?
• Is this person mature, responsible and in good emotional health?
• Is this person physically capable of full participation in the weekend?
• Does this person understand that the Via de Cristo is more than just attending a weekend?
• Is this person able to live in a close community with others?
• Does this person really want to attend a weekend?
• Is this person free from serious stress, personal crisis,health, job or marital difficulties, etc.?
